This project took us to sunny Florida, USA, where we had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully restored 1967 Pontiac GTO. Commissioned by a private client, the goal was to create a collection of striking automotive images that documented the full renovation and celebrated the car’s craftsmanship, with some of the final shots being printed large-scale for display.
Florida’s natural light did most of the heavy lifting here — crystal-clear skies and warm tones provided the perfect backdrop for a piece of classic American muscle.
Without the lighting challenges often faced in the UK, this shoot was all about slowing down, appreciating the details, and letting the car’s bold design speak for itself. A smooth, rewarding day that proves sometimes all you need is a great car and great light.
